Support for SD cameras is limited to email, and preexisting documentation.
In order to set up motion alerts, you would need to first be familiar with your emails SMTP server settings.
You can find a list of commonly used providers and settings on the page below.

Keep in mind that for certain providers you may need to enable additional functions on their end to allow 3rd party devices to access their system. You would want to check with the provider for such requirements.

I own 2 of these, and they are not behaving. Too bad Smarthome still sells them but DOES NOT SUPPORT THE PRODUCT THEY SELL !!!

Just updated the camera firmware (security update to 56) and UI (update to 8) following the procedure provided and all went without incident. Thanks for the detailed pages.

Basic setup was simple and easy to complete using the iPhone app. However, I was not able to see the camera from outside my LAN. Called tech support, connected to a person in less than 1 minute. He walked me through a simple way to configure my route with proper Port Forwarding to enable access to the camera from WAN outside my home. All told took less than 2 minutes on phone. Lack of printed documentation and lack of specific pdf file on web site to accomplish steps completed by tech support keeps this from being a 5 star rating.

I like the camera itself. It gives a very clear image both in light and very low light/dark. The pan/tilt works well. Audio in works mediocre and I can hear.
The controller app works ok when on the network however setting it up to work over the web requires a call to the help desk. They took over my computer and got it working fine. My only complaint is the telephone wait times are ridiculous and the estimated time is nowhere near accurate. I called today and was told 11 minutes. An hour later I was still waiting. I used the call back feature and never got a call back!!!
Two of my cameras worked right out of the box. One had broken wifi and had to be returned. Not a good track record. The two that were working are still going strong.
For the price and flexibility, ease of use they are great.
Web connectivity is very particular, would help if resolution could be adjusted down to aide in streaming.
Overall good value for price but you get what you pay for.

I ordered 4 cameras on a special deal they had. Great price for the quality of the camera, plus easy configuration, and works excellent. However, only problem I have is that if you mount the cameras on the factory brackets the antenna is flushed with the wall. This is a problem unless you replace the mounting bracket with something else or add an extension between the bracket and wall to give the camera the extra room it needs. Someone didn't measure the depth when designing the bracket :)
Overall great camera, and will definitely be buying more.

Bought two of these and they may go back. Could not get them to work on I phone. Insteon helped for 1hr and 50 min could not get them to work and then hung up on me. Not the best customer service and the tech was not very good in knowing the product.

What IP Camera will work with my MACBOOK AIR with audio. I need to hear what is going on. I got the 45 model - works great..the box and literature forgot to tell me..daaaaa it does not work on a MAC. GRRRR!
I give their tech 5 big stars!

Love this camera .. one of my best investments for the home i ever made.
Easy to set up . Technical support was outstanding very knowledgeable .Now where ever i am with my smart phone i can check in on my house and see what`s going on.I plan on buying some more of the cameras for even more security..so far this product is 5 stars!!!!!!!
